The National Cultural Foundation cordially invites you their latest exhibition at the Queen's Park Pelican Gallery entitled Exploration.

The artist is Denise Menard-Greenidge one of Barbados' foremost abstract artists. 

Denise has made an outstanding contribution to the development of the Visual Arts in Barbados both through her own practice, her curatorial work and her contribution through Art Education. 

As an Artist and Curator, she worked on the establishment of the Queen’s Park Gallery as an exhibition site after CARIFESTA ’81. Her work is in many collections both private and government collections both in Barbados and abroad. She was selected as a Woman of Excellence in an exhibition of the same name in Barbados in 1998. Although predominantly a painter, she has also worked in Sculpture.

The exhibition runs until March 09.


The Queen's Park Gallery is temporarily located at Pelican Craft Centre # 12.
This is next to Roslyn's of Barbados and not far from Sylvester's Restaurant.
