On pre-announced nights, the competition’s judges visit each tent and score the performers on known criteria.

This event showcases the best calypsonians in Barbados, as they compete for the crown and the title of Pic-O-De-Crop Monarch. Calypso, dubbed as the people’s newspaper, offers artists the opportunity to express issues of the people in song. Patrons will be awarded an electrifying atmosphere and the opportunity to cheer on their favorites. This event promises to showcase amazing performances, offer a thrilling competition, and a vibrant atmosphere, Pic-O-De-Crop is an event you don’t want to miss!

This is a annual season of The 100 Voice Project, which features recitals of musicians and singers coming to Barbados from many countries around the world.

100 Singers meet together for the first time this August from several different countries, to put on two concerts, building musical networks as well as to show that music is the true universal language.

Persons interested in participating send their musical bio/CV to the organizers and based on a favorable review are offered places on the choir.

This year’s charity is TBA.
