Experience the rich history and culture of our island as we mark the end of the sugar cane harvest season. This event honors the struggles and sacrifices of our ancestors who fought for the freedom of our people. It is a time to remember the ones who came before us and celebrate their achievements, honor their memory, and continue their legacy.

This unforgettable celebration of our heritage signals the start of the Crop Over Festival and is a time for families and friends to come together and celebrate everything Bajan including cuisine, arts and craft, workshops and performances.

This year the event will be held at HAYMANS FACTORY, ST. PETER, on Saturday July 1st, 2023.

July 2nd 2023

Contestants will be performing in three age categories: 6-10, 11-14 and 15-18.

This is not just any competition, but a chance for young Barbadians to learn the artform of creating music and express themselves through the rhythms of Calypso and Soca, two of the island’s most beloved musical genres.

Come and experience the excitement as young, talented singers and musicians take the stage to showcase their skills and passion for music.

You’ll be amazed at the creativity and talent of these young performers, who will compete in various categories for a chance to win amazing prizes and recognition.
