Surf Promotions Barbados Limited are a surf-oriented company promoting surfing in Barbados as well as hosting major international.

Surf Promotions Barbados Limited will once again be hosting the Live Like Zander Junior Pro in memory of Zander Venezia and The Barbados Surf Pro Men’s and Women’s Qualifying Series which has now been upgraded from a QS3,000 to a QS5,000 event by the World Surf League (WSL) North America.

This will be the final stop of the World Surf League North American Region and will be a key event for qualification to the challenger series. Mark the dates and enjoy the sun, surf and good vibes.

Live Like Zander Junior Pro 2023 – Top Junior Surfing Talent Converges on Barbados to Celebrate Zander Venezia’s Life and Legacy – The Live Like Zander Junior Pro 2023 is quickly shaping up to be one of the most anticipated surfing events of the year, bringing together the America’s top junior surfing talent to compete in honor of legendary surfer and champion, Zander Venezia. The event marks the fifth edition of the competition, which is set to take place from March 27th to April 2nd in the soup bowl, Bathsheba. This year’s competition is dedicated to the life and legacy of Zander Venezia, a young and talented Caribbean surfer who passed away in heavy surf in 2017, while chasing his dreams to become the best surfer in the world. The Live Like Zander Junior Pro was established in his memory in 2017, as a fitting tribute to his unwavering passion, incredible talent, and love for the sport. The event’s key objective is to inspire and support the next generation of young surfers, who, like Zander, aspire to greatness and pursue their dreams with passion and dedication. The Live Like Zander Junior Pro 2023 is presented by the Live Like Zander Trust, in partnership with Surf promotions Barbados, BTMI, & Diamond’s International.

The event will take place at the world-famous Soup Bowl, Bathsheba running from March 27th to April 2nd, 2023.

The 19th Annual National Senior Games is organized by the Ministry of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs.

Persons aged 40 years and over may participate in the Games.
