Crop Over Festival – Youth Pan Project Extravaganza

Event Description

The Pan in the Plaza Steelpan Camp which has been organized by the Central Bank and its partners each year since 2002 brings its end-of-camp Extravaganza back to Cathedral Plaza, where patrons can relax in the beautiful setting while watching the dynamic young performers making up the Camp Orchestra.

From the camp location in the Queen’s Park Steel Shed, approximately sixty children learn and improve upon their mastery of the steel pan over the three week programme.

The event is sponsored by the Central Bank of Barbados and the National Cultural Foundation.
 

You’ll be entertained by the Youth Pan Project Junior and Senior Bands, Youth Pan Ensemble and Soloist Keifer Kinch.
