The Barbados Museum & Historical Society’s 2021 Lecture Series is entitled: “Fighting for Souls: Spirituality and Religion in Barbados.”

Tune in via Zoom or Facebook Live (@BarbadosMuseum) and explore the history, development and context of religion in Barbados with a roster of lectures starting at 5:00 p.m. from May 12th and continuing every week until June 23rd.

The Rotary Club of (Bridgetown) Barbados is marking the end of the first year of their Childhood Obesity Prevention activities with a virtual event entitled The Last Mile from June 14th to 20th, 2021.

The Rotary Clubs of Barbados have been partnering with Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Barbados Childhood Obesity Prevention Coalition over the last year on Childhood Obesity Prevention activities.

All proceeds will go to to the Barbados Diabetes Foundation, Diabetes Association of Barbados, Heart & Stroke Foundation and Rotary Trust Fund Projects.

The Division of Culture, Prime Minister’s Office and the Barbados World Heritage Committee are hosting a discussion on Sensitizing Young Persons to the Potential of the Heritage Sector as a Career as the 2nd part of the Heritage Month Webinar Series “Dollars and Sense of Heritage”.

The webinar will examine the views of young Barbadian students on ways to assist in the development of the sector to make it more sustainable.
