This event is promoted by the Barbados Rally Club.
There are seven rounds to the BRC Mud Dogs Safari Championships - two are characterised as Mud Fests and the other five as Safaris or Navigational Rallies.
In the five Safaris, there's a competition for Best Navigator and Driver. Other prizes are awarded for novices and females.
The Chefette April Safari includes two Driver Challenges, points for which will count towards the Shelbury Construction Trophy. This island-wide off-road safari will be covering all areas of Barbados.
The first crew will leave Chefette Lancaster at 2:00 p.m., heading across the island for the dinner halt at Chefette Six Roads at about 6:30 p.m. The first Challenge will be near Three House at around 5:30 p.m.
The second route will carry competitors back towards the finish in the centre of the island at around 11:40 p.m. at the Country View Bar, Market Hill, St George. The second Challenge will be at 9:00 p.m. in Searles Quarry.
