The Celtic Festival Barbados celebrates the links between this wonderful balmy West Indian Caribbean island and the Celtic countries. It’s a musical extravaganza with a fusion of flavours from visiting chefs and highland and beach games for the sporting.

Pipers on the Boardwalk
A mass 100 pipers play a host of tunes at sundown.
Fusion Fun Live Concert, honouring the late Adrian “Boo” Husbands until 9:00 pm
A mix of musical styles from local Bajan Spouge Band and Scottish musicians, fusing cultures together.
Sat May 27th
10:00 am from Bridgetown Post Office
Pipers and Massed Bands Parade
Pipers and drummers from Pipefest will be led through Bridgetown by the Barbados Defense Band and the Royal Barbados Police Force Band, from the Post Office, through Broad Street, to Heroes Square - for all to watch
1:30 pm at The Limegrove Lifestyle Centre, Holetown
Fiddlers from the Scottish Borders Group Riddell Fiddles, will play along with pupils form the Suzuki Violin School of Barbados accompanied by Scottish fiddlers – visitors welcome to join in. With dancing from the Scottish Dance class in Barbados.
4:00 pm at SOL Motor Rally Show, Simpson Motors Warrens
Pipefest pipes and drums will lead the Scottish Rally Drivers

12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Atlantis Hotel, Tent Bay, St Joseph
Celtic Sunday Buffet Lunch with traditional Scottish folk music by Ross Couper (fiddle) and Tom Oakes (guitar), and food from Celebrity Chef Paul Wedgwood – working together to theme some of the dishes Bajan/Scottish at lunch.
