The Errol Barrow Centre for Creative Imagination Film Club presents its season of film.
This week they present the film The Last Picture Show.
Synopsis: The film, directed and co-written by Peter Bogdanovich was adapted from a semi-autobiographical 1966 novel by Larry McMurtry. High school seniors and best friends, Sonny (Timothy Bottoms) and Duane (Jeff Bridges), live in a dying Texas town. The handsome Duane is dating local beauty, Jacy (Cybill Shepherd), while Sonny is having an affair with the coach's wife, Ruth (Cloris Leachman). As graduation nears, both boys contemplate their futures. While Duane eyes the army and Sonny takes over a local business, each boy struggles to figure out if he can escape this dead-end town and build a better life somewhere else.

About the EBCCI Film Club The aim of the EBCCI film club is to promote student productions, educate its audience, and develop their skills in the field of video production.
Although sponsored by the Film and Video Studies program, the club is open to all students and provides its members a place to develop production projects and meet other like-minded people.
